Hi. My wife says she wants an iPad for her birthday but the reviews I’ve read/heard, portrayed the iPad as being over-rated. In addition, we have two laptops and a blackberry in the house. Would the iPad fill a gap in our household technology or would it be a waste of money?

I want to buy the iPad Wi-Fi + 3G Model but I would like to know if it comes with the At&t micro-sim already packaged in it.

say for example, i own the Brushes app on the iphone… and now i want to get it for the iPad…
do i have to buy this app over again or will it remember that i paid for it on the iPhone version and therefore just let me have the iPad version free?

I like to read but often I hate carrying around books. I like the ipad because i can use my internet in any place through 3g. I carry around my Macbook often hunting for wifi, but usually to no avail. I like the internet on the iphone but its way better when on a computer or bigger screen. Iam an MBA student as well. Do want to be wasting money, so what do you guys think???
